Parent Teacher Associaton
What's it all about...
Well, our PTA works really hard to raise loads of money each year to spend on those extras that make a big difference for our children. We are a friendly bunch of parents who meet regularly to organise events and activities, some of these are unashamedly money raisers, but others are purely fun and socialable for children and families alike.
We would encourage everyone to support us in whatever way they can, everyone is always welcome. Keep an eye out for where and when the next meeting will be and bring your ideas and enthusiasm along. We look forward to meeting you.
A huge thank you to all the committee members, parents and friends of the school who have supported, helped and organised the events through the year. Also, a big thanks to all the businesses and organisations, locally and from further afield who have donated prizes and such like for the various raffles, tombolas and competitions: these have included, Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, Lakes Aquarium, The Whitewater Hotel, The Anglers Arms, The Rusland Pool Hotel, The Boathouse Restaurant, Lakeland Motor Museum, Windermere Lake Cruises, Graythwiate Estates, Lakeland Limited, Cartmel Village Shop, Onside Coaching, The Custom House, Mariyn Hale Glass Fusing, Unsworth Brewery, Mandy Allen Artist, Cartmel Racecourse, Little Kraft Shed, The Porterage, Yew Tree Barn, Higginsons of Grange, Pete Hutchinson Butcher, Marbletree.
