Childcare

Leven Valley After-school Club offers a home from home care environment for children after the normal school day. There's a range of activities provided each afternoon from crafts to computers and board games to baking. In addition, a tasty snack is offered to 'keep them going' until they get home for supper.

The practicalities

• We ask parents to book places at least one day before they are needed to allow us to buy and prepare any necessary resources and food: the booking sheets are available in the school office during the day or at the after-school club when you collect your child. Alternatively, parents can book on ParentPay.
• From 3.30pm (end of school day) until 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday.
• Costs: £2.50 per hour.

Childcare Choices

The government website called Childcare Choices for children under 12 years old (under 17 years old for disabled children). As well as current schemes, Childcare Choices introduces Tax-Free Childcare and 30 hours.

You can sign up to receive alerts of when to apply for the 30 hours, so we would encourage you to register as soon as possible and by signing up to the web page alerts you will recieve information directly.Childcare Choices brings together all the government childcare offers in one place for the first time.
