We're big believers in the value of extra-curricular opportunities for children and aim to offer a range of clubs and activities that appeal and provide for different ages and interests. Participation in these clubs helps develop children's confidence, self-esteem and social skills, as well as those skills directly related to the activity.
Most clubs take place either during lunchtimes (once the children have eaten their lunch!) or straight after school. Details of the clubs will be sent to parents via ParentPay and children will be asked to sign-up accordingly. For some clubs there may be a small charge to help make it more sustainable.
Throughout the year we offer different types of clubs, this might be dependent on the weather, availability of staff and what else is going on in school. Recent clubs have included: Onside Sports, Secret Agents investigating Christianity, Little Big Band, Recorders, Knitting, Year 6 Revision, Art with Mandy, Film Club and Orienteering.
